IFPI(International Federation of the Phonographic Industry) announced that Taylor Swift is the Biggest global artist of the year 2019. Lady Gaga is about to publish her new album and Public Enemy are amongst many performers who showed their support for Bernie Sanders. Yes, many interesting things are happening in the music industry these days.

The excitement is present in Croatia as well, as was apparent on Dora. That`s why in this episode we`re talking about Dora - The Croatian national selection for a song that`ll represent Croatia on this years` Eurosong. We bring you lots of news and listen to mostly ladies this week. After all, it is the weekend dedicated to women, people.

The BRITS are behind us and that night in London gave us a performance by Billie Eilish and Hans Zimmer as well as Johnny Marr (the one from the Smiths). Also, we witnessed Lewis Capaldi getting two awards and wacky Lizzo on stage and around it.

The nominations for Porin award are out! And we`re definitely talking about them. The nominations influenced this week`s Album of the week pick - URBAN&4 and Zagreb Philharmonic Orchestra.

The month of love is nearing its end so we bring you some romantic verses, among those we`ll hear some hits from Vanna, Opća opasnost, Lara Demarin and Zdenka Kovačićek.

This time of the year, when we eat donuts and dress up in costumes, music awards are being won and news from the music world keep on coming. NME pronounced Lana Del Rey`s album „Norman F. Rockwell“ Album of the Year, Billie Eilish published her James Bond theme song in which Johnny Marr plays the guitar. The music industry surprised us with news of increased sales of casettes as well as the sales increase of casette players.What? That`s right, welcome to the 2020s, the 90s are long gone. Or are they?

In this weeks Incubator we`re listening to Teška industrija, Letu štuke, Jelena Rozga and Pavel. Quite the ensemble!

Parasite is going in the history books! This southkorean movie took home 4 Oscars, and among them the Oscar for Best picture. At the Oscars, there was an unexpected appearance by Eminem. Janelle Monae, Idina Menzel and AURORA performed "Into the Unknown" from the movie Frozen, and Billie Eilish put her spin on the Beatles classic.

But more importantly, last week we witnessed the birth of a new prestigious music award. The first Top.HR Music Awards took place in Esplanade hotel in Zagreb and we can only describe the night as "the music to our ears" and a beautiful sight to see. This weeks` Incubator is dedicated to the award that is based on transparent data of radio-streaming and listening, as well as streaming on Deezer.

Billie Eilish dominated the Grammys, Jennifer Lopez made headlines with her SuperBowl performance. She was joined by her daughter Emma, Shakira, J Balvin and Bad Bunny. Billie, on the other hand was sincerely applauded at the Staples Center in Los Angeles. It was a beautiful sight to see - musicians of all genres celebrating and supporting one another. 

Perfomers from this years` Zagrebački festival showed equal amount of support to each other. That`s the topic of this weeks Incubator. We`ll listen to songs by Maja Posavec, Daleka obala, Marko Kutlić i Jelena Rozga. Album of the week goes to Lea Mijatović titled "Sva moja lica".
